The Tree of Inevitability

To choose good
Or choose the poison

Most the time everything is meaningless under the sun
So I choose the poison

But then I kick and scream as it attacks my oxygen

Numb, lifeless and overcome

Guilt is a power that reigns stronger than I,
Still, I don’t choose the former

For the battle in my flesh confirms this battle of logic
Oh, how this path seems inevitable!

So, what do you say free will?
